Our mission statement at Freedom Church can be summed up as "transforming those who don't know Jesus into wholehearted disciples who do." This has been a long standing mission statement at Freedom Church for over 18 years!

 

At Freedom Church we are passionate about relationship and discipleship, walking alongside people in the highs and lows of life, equipping people to follow Jesus with their whole hearts throughout all that life throws at us. The way we carry out our mission is through our vision.

community - the heart of the community

 

We have a have a strong value on community at Freedom. We believe that Jesus is God's answer to the brokenness in the world and the church is God's vehicle in which people discover his goodness. We do our very best to love our community in fun, creative and beautiful ways so that we truly do become the heart of the community; a place and a people whom our friends, family and work colleagues just love to be around!

presence - a place where god dwells

Being a people of presence is at the core of who we are at Freedom Church. All we do is centred around prayer as our starting point and nothing we do is without involving Holy Spirit in the midst.

We are a church who love to worship! For us there is nothing better than gathering together, whether just one or two of us or the whole Freedom family and praising Jesus!

We believe that an effective church is a church who pursues the presence of the living God, the one who wants to work in all the same ways as we read in the bible. It's all about being 'naturally supernatural and supernaturally natural.'

resource - a centre of resource

Over the years Freedom Church has been a sending and resourcing church. We have pioneered many local ministries including Town pastors and Open the Book and our mandate to be a resource continues to be a strong arm of our vision here at Freedom. Whether it's offering our building to local businesses, leadership training or overseas mission, Freedom is committed to be a resourcing church as far and wide as God calls us to be.
