Our current theme, ‘Dare to be a Daniel’, is all about capturing God characteristics for our own lives, looking at the Biblical hero ‘Daniel’. You can tune into the messages via our podcasts. During the theme we’re daring each other to take on a new dare for the week, we’d love to hear your feedback of how the dare is going in your world.
THIS WEEKS DARE: Dare to serve!
at church / at home / at work / with friends
It might come easy to you, but it’s a great discipline to hold onto anyway. Go out in to all the world… and invite! Have fun and tell your story here… (We’re aiming for 20 stories so check back to tell us yours)

We believe that creativity is a gift from God and here at Freedom we love outworking our God given gifts. Freedom Creative runs through everything we do in church, as we want everything to look and sound great. It includes our amazing worship team, media whiz kids our web team and our design crew! There are a tonne of areas that you can get involved in whether you can play an instrument or sing, use a computer, can take photographs or want to learn!
Praise and worship are a key part of Freedom and we love to make a loud shout of praise with our lives. We’re not just confined to singing songs from books in pews on a Sunday but we’re all about a lifestyle of praise and worship. A life that shouts ‘My God can do all things’! No matter what situations we face or circumstances surround our head, not that we live in a falseness that doesn’t accept things that are happening, but, live with a knowledge and a hope that our God will make a way where there is no way! Freedom worship is loud, confident and bold… why? Because our God doesn’t deserve any less!

Just like going out for a nice meal with your family, or away for the weekend on a romantic holiday, it’s the whole ‘experience’ that determines whether it’s a memory you will cherish forever or one you would rather forget! We believe our church event every Sunday should be an ‘experience’ to be cherished and remembered by all. That much so, that you’ll want to pack up your suitcase and move in!
King David in the Bible said, “Zeal for your [God’s] house has consumed me!” He understood that at the very centre of God’s plan is His house, His church, to be beautiful, attractive, passionate and fun! A place where people can grow and in turn help others grow. A place of safety, healing and restoration. A place where dreams are birthed and relationships flourish. A place where life is discovered and truth is found, the only real truth through Jesus.
This is why we as a church see every Sunday as an ‘experience’ to be had and to be shared. We are passionate about God’s house being all of the above and more for every person that passes through our doors. From the moment you drive through the gate and meet the steward, to the warm welcome by the team on the door, to the Red Room café where great relationships can be built over yummy hot chocolate, to then ‘experience’ the incredible live worship, with multi media programmes and inspirational practical teaching from the word of God which helps you to live out the ‘experience’ in your every day life. To top it all off, your children also have an incredible ‘experience’ of their own in Freedom Kids, where they learn how much God loves them, grow in confidence and most of all have fun!
So all that’s left to be said is, “Come and experience Church”, it’s too good to not be shared!!
